(1) Smaller and lighter. Foreign manufacturers have been able to process high difficulty FFCS with conductor spacing less than 0.25 mm. Only a few domestic FFC manufacturers such as xinmeite can do this, but it also shows that the gap between China and the world in this field is narrowing year by year. All of them play a key role in the product impedance. In order to reduce the signal reflection and improve the transmission efficiency, we must control the impedance to achieve impedance matching.
(3) The improvement of FFC material. Generally, the working temperature of FFC is below 80 ℃. In the future, the insulating film of FFC may be made of liquid crystal polymer and other materials with higher temperature resistance, so that it can be used in worse environment. In special field, FFC cable is plated with gold on the exposed gold finger, which is more antioxidant
(4) Mobile market. The mobile phone market is so large, but at present, smart phones have been popularized. The ultra-thin body, clear touch screen, high-speed and stable signal connection will further penetrate FFC flat cable into the mobile phone field.
